This was truly the winter season Peanut graduated to SKIER (at age 5)! He went from ski bunny on the bunny hill practicing his pizza and turns with his teacher mama, to then riding the chair lift on the big hills and joining in a race with his brother! By the end of ski season, mid March, the brothers were flying down the hill, chasing after one another! Taj has always been a speedster on skis since last year, but now we have new dare devil among us! He's the youngest, the smallest, and he just zips down the hill. I have to remind him to make wider turns and keep better control because the bigger hills are steep. SO proud of our Peanut for really working hard to ski his best, and now both boys have so much fun skiing together! WE as a family have a BLAST skiing together, our first season to ride the chair lift together and ski the hills of Tannenbaum and Yodeler at Holiday Valley! We went from couples skiing with the boys in ski school (and Jax in daycare) (approx year 2014 & 2015) to teaching Taji and skiing with mostly him while Jax was in ski school (year 2016), to year 2017 officially being the year we skied as whole FAMILY... and mama also got to ski solo with her boys and ski the big hills. Each year, they improve by leaps and bounds!
