Well, I did it! I finally did it!!! I miraculously completed Taj's long anticipated First Year book! I have been working on it these last few weeks, working diligently and creatively into the wee hours of the night! And I am so proud to share my work! I really love the recent updates Picaboo has made to their online scrapbooking program, such fun page backgrounds to choose from. I always make my books from scratch, and this time I referred to our blog for all the pics, posts, comments....... (this is the advantage of having a family blog, it documents the details of your life, and I am a very meticulous writer and blogger for this reason exactly.) It's one of the most unique photo books I have made because of not only the themes and layouts, but also the details in Taj's development during the 1st year of his life! We ordered a book for ourselves, and one for Taj, which he will receive when he is a little older so he can appreciate it! I have also downloaded all the pics (videos too) on a disc, and will be attaching it to the inside of the book, so this way when he is older he can view them on the computer, print them, and do whatever he wishes. Now that this big project is under my belt, I can take a big breath of relief! But not for too long because in a few short weeks I will begin to work on Jax's Pregnancy book or what I like to refer to as "The Birth of Jax" book. (Just like "The Birth of Taj" book, I will be documenting the pregnancy progression, pics, letters, news, special events, and of course, the birth!)

our story
It all began on the evening of Nov 29th 2003, at former Chat Noir French Restaurant in Costa Mesa, CA. Brad approached me [Jana] and we instantly connected; it was love at first sight. The next 4 years that followed were a whirlwind of romance, growing pains, and adventures. We circled the globe, traveling to South America, Europe, and Asia. Then one night, Brad surprised me with a romantic beachside proposal. We made it official on August 23rd 2008 with an intimate wedding at a hip art gallery in Laguna Beach. A year later we finished redesigning our home in the beach village of Corona del Mar.
On May 18th, 2010, we were blessed with a sweet little miracle of our own, our baby boy Taj Leon. He stole our hearts and took our breath away! Then, 19 months later, his incredible little brother, Jax Franz, arrived on Christmas morning (December 25th) 2011. What an amazing gift we received! In an effort to slow down the clock and enjoy our beautiful family, in Spring of 2012, we sold our CA seaside home and moved across the country to our dream lake house in Brad's hometown of Bemus Point, a resort village on Chautauqua Lake in Western New York! Even though we are living a more slow paced life, we are living a life far from ordinary!
