Sometimes you just need to pack up your family and ska-daddle out of town to have uninterrupted family time! Summers are busy with friends and activities non-stop, and every summer seems to get busier. Even though we make it point to go boating as a family, sometimes its very necessary to go further away to reconnect and bond. What better place than Canada- just a short drive, and where you are forced to put our phones away (our cell coverage doesn't cover being outside of the US), and really focus on one another. Even if its just for one night. So we did just that, and it was refreshing, re-energizing, and who doesn't love a beautiful city like Toronto?!
nice hotel view!
Dundas Square- the Times Square of Canada
favorite burger…. comes second to In N' Out :-)
The boys love exploring cities, such excitement for them (and us!). Even though its still nerve-wrecking with them running around in such a busy place with cars and people, we love having the best of both worlds.
after the room-service dinner,
we took a family swim at the hotel's wonderful indoor pool…. with views of the CN Tower!
next morning- a delicious breakfast in the old historic part of Toronto
and a day trip to LegoLand Toronto!
