Daddy Brad finally got his work space of his dreams, the new and recently remodeled Future Data Solutions headquarters! Before Brad purchased the Mondovi Dental building earlier this year, it was one part residential home for the retired dentist and one part his dentist practice. Since the original owner- the retired dentist sold his dentistry practice to the Mondovi group, and sold the whole building/ dual house and property to Brad. So when Brad bought it he also became the landlord for the part the Mondovi dentist group leases. It was a win-win scenario, and like Brad always likes to stay the place pays for itself! Brad was eager to renovate the residential portion of the building to his liking, and of course modernizing it and designing it in typical Brad fashion. It took many months, but the finishes and design of the whole interior were not only state-of-the-art and super nice for the offices of Brad's IT company FDS, but also enough space for a fitness/ rec area (the large main living area), and the 2nd story bedrooms comfy enough for the boys to have another place space and for us to basically have another residence in Lakewood! Brad really enjoys it because he finally has a large enough multi-office, packing, shipping, and storage space for FDS, and also because its also a fun after-work play space for him to workout, do his laundry, have his buddies over for happy hour and game time. The boys and I have grown to love it too as it allows us to come over and play in the rec room, exercise, and the boys even have their own room upstairs they like to watch movies in/ build their legos when mama drops them off at daddy's "office", or when one of them is sick/ has to go to work with daddy. It's finally a proper office building for Future Date Solutions plus the bonuses and conveniences!
December was the month of our annual Book Club Christmas Party, and this being my 2nd year running the Book Club, I organized a very special wine tasting party for all the girls at Bag & String Wine Merchant. Everybody brought a dish to pass, we received a lesson on wine tasting, and then we pushed the tables together to sit around and play our annual book/gift exchange game! It was a fun evening!
