Labor Day Weekend Fun

We had a great mix of father-son, mother-son, family, and friend quality time this long wknd. First, on Wednesday, the boys ordered pizza and let mommy have a girl's nite out with her friend Laura.

Thursday, Cade and his mommy Michelle came over for a playdate and we did a fabulous photo shoot with the boys. Here is a little preview of our little "twin" heart throbs :) On Friday, after work, we took a family stroll around the neighborhood and watched the sunset. On Saturday, we bought our usual bread and produce at our local Farmers Market. Taj is becoming quite the baby celebrity around town, riding in his babybjorn with his sunglasses on! He gets so many smiles and compliments! Here is a pic of the boys: After returning from our morning shopping & lunch, Brad went to go hang out with his buddies on the duffy while Taj and I headed to LA for some fun with Auntie Dina! Taj loves LA! He was such a good boy during the car ride, and loved chatting it up with Dina. We drove over to Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, and checked out the new Santa Monica Place outside 3-level mall. It was so awesome, so many stores and restaurants! We had dinner at a cool sushi restaurant, it was Taji's first time at a Sushi place (mama's favorite food!) After dinner we made it just in time for some yummy cupcake desserts at our favorite Vanilla Bake Shop. Here he is with Auntie Dina at the sushi restaurant:

We had a blast hanging out with Dina and can't wait to come back and visit again..... Taji was sad to leave. Thanks Dina for your wonderful company!

After sleeping in on Sunday, we hit the road once again and visited our friends the Papac Family at their parents' house in Yorba Linda. We were excited to meet their new addition, William James Papac, only 4 weeks old. They treated us to a BBQ and Taji got to meet his new buddy for the first time. Thanks Papac Family for the warm hospitality, we always enjoy visiting you guys!

We finished the long holiday weekend with a nice family day on Monday. Taji modeled his cute Sailor outfit for babi & deda over Skype....

and then we hopped on our duffy, cruised around the bay, and walked around the Balboa Fun Zone. We stopped to take pictures and ate some tacos before heading back home.
