We had a gobble-riffic and our first "white" Thanksgiving with our friends, the Benson family, and Brad's buddy Chris (whose wife was out of town.) I made my award-winning bacon-blanketed herb turkey again, and also got creative with the turkey inspired vegetable platter and fox pumpkin pie slices! We had quite the feast and wine fest all evening long!
our first wood-burning fire of the season!
The next morning, Jax showed off all the wine bottles we drank through (mostly the guys who partied all night long)….. his favorite being his of course! (Jax Vineyards!)
The morning after Turkey Day, we took the boys sledding with some friends.
They all had a race!
Then over the weekend, we decided to try out the hibachi table at the new Fuji Sushi & Japanese Steakhouse. It was the boys' first time eating at a hibachi table, and they were both intrigued and frightening! The fire, noise, food throwing, and sake squirting was a little too much for them, but they could not look away!
